We looked at quite a few model homes. We never really fell in love with anything until we came across the Key West II. The floorplan was great, very open and airy and felt like it had a lot of room to move about it. The bedrooms were centrally located on the first (and second) floor, which is what we’ve been looking for. There were plenty of bathrooms and we would even have an office downstairs. Perfecto!
The pictures posted here are actually the model at the neighboring Woodlands at Longleaf. Our home will vary based on some of the customization’s we make, but this will give you a good idea of what made us fall in love with the floor plan. The back of the home is beautiful. We aren’t building a pool through the builder but will be adding one on our own, shortly after closing.
The main room and formal dining room are all very open and are going to offer us a lot of options for daily living and entertaining. We love to host our families and friends for many events through the year and this is the perfect layout for that!
The kitchen is very large and very open to the common areas, which is excellent. Jeff is a gourmet chef and he spends a ton of time cooking. Instead of being tucked away from everybody creating his magic, this open concept will allow him to be apart of the action.
Here’s the full floor plan for the Key West II. We went with all of the basic structural options and added the additional bedroom on the second floor as well as the pool bath on the first floor. You can click on any of the images for their full-size view.
